Dr. Lies attended college at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed medical school at Duke University. His specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology was also at Duke Medical Center.  In addition to routine OB/GYN, Dr. Lies has an interest in vaginal surgery.

Dr. Lies is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the Bayard Carter Society of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
